UPDATE 6-15-08 THIS DOG IS HOME. Joe,
Please post to your Happy Endings site so more people know of the great work you do:
Dear Joe,
Just a quick not to say thank you for helping us through a tough weekend while our dog Ballou was missing. As you know, Ballou suffered a first-time epileptic-like seizure in our backyard last Wednesday. While coming out of it he was disoriented, panicked and went through our fence. He was missing for 4 days with absolutely no leads, and we were worried sick for his health and safety. After talking to you Saturday evening and trying your suggestion of leaving his bedding near a possible sighting location, he was home...in less than 12-hours! A Happy Father's Day reunion for all. I wish I had heard about you and contacted you sooner. I will be sure to pass along the wonderful work you do in helping distraught pet owners reunite with their lost pets. Thanks again for your suggestions and most of all, for listening. It is appreciated more than you know!
Attached is a picture of Ballou happily reunited with our dog Guinness...safe and home again.
Thanks again and have a TERRIFIC day!

Posted Date: 6-10-06 : Joe, I just sent you an email saying the 2 labs have been found. The owner found your site tonight and just left with his 2 labs. I'm just as happy them leaving as he is finding them. They were a handful and left a few holes in the yard, but it was worth it all to see everyone including the dogs so happy. And I get my yard back. Thank you for your site and all you do to maintain it. God bless you, Carol.

Posted Date: 5-15-06 : Joe,
Good news! Macy was found at Rock Creek - a division of Riata Complex and given to the local dog walker. She was returned to me last night. She is healthy, safe and sound. Thank you so much for your website. It is because of lostadog.com that she was returned to me. A friend of the person watching her saw Macy and found her on the site. We are happy to have our family whole again. Thank you sincerely.

Posted Date: 4-21-06 : Dear Joe,
I wanted to tell you the news that our dog was found
and returned to us safely. Kathy and her family found
the dog and then discovered the picture and phone number on LOSTADOG.com
and called me. When I met with Kathy today
she said to me "I was glad to see the picture on LOSTADOG.com ,
as when I saw the picture I knew it was your dog."
We were reunited today (4/21) with the
help of your website and the kindness of strangers.
All the best,
Darcy

Posted Date: 4-13-06 : Joe:
Thanks to your website, Queen was recovered yesterday.
A lady had found her in Anderson Mill by the El
Salido pool. She took her in and had checked the your
website on Saturday, but nothing had been posted yet.
(We had not gotten that far yet). She posted signs,
but we had not connected. Her son's girlfriend found and
identified her yesterday morning on your website, and
I picked her up at 12:00 noon from her son. They took
great care of her and would not take any money for her
food or anything. The mother had taken her to some
clinic to be scanned, but she didn't have the
microchip. As of 2:00 pm yesterday, Queen is now
microchipped. As many have suggested,
staying calm and following the tips on websites
worked. Thank you again for your assistance.

Posted Date: 3-1-06 : dear Joe,
I contacted lostadog about my lost dog, Lulu. She was lost on 2/18. Tonight 2/27 I received a phone call asking if I had lost a dog and was it posted on lostadog. It was Lulu! The couple had moved in a week ago a few blocks from here and had two dogs, one a larger version of Lulu. The neighbors had put her in their back yard thinking it was their dog. She was housed and fed, playing with the other dogs and sleeping with Kate, her rescuer. Now she is back home thanks to lostadog!

Posted Date: 05-15-05 Dear Joe: Thanks to the fine work ya'll do, we have our baby girl back. It's the ad that reads "answers to "ratdog " or "baby girl". The people who found her were kind enough to drive her back to us all the way from San Marcos, and it was your service that put them in touch with us. Again, our most heartfelt thanks on the wonderful work you do! The details: It's actually a very poignant story. After Babygirl escaped, we really had no idea how to go about finding her, so Katherine suggested we Google the terms "lost dog" and "Austin". The first item to come back was your site www.FOUNDADOG.com. It turned out that she was rescued from a very busy street near our house by a college student who was taking classes here in Austin, though she was actually registered, (and lived), in San Marcos, which was over fifty miles away. She had to go back home, so she didn't have time to stop by the local animal shelter. Once home, she first took Babygirl to a vet, who verified she was both in excellent health, and at least ten years old. It was her age that persuaded this good samaritan that Babygirl came from a loving home, at which point she had the idea to Google exactly the same terms that we did, by which time I had the chance to get the ad, (complete with picture), onto your site. Don't you just love seeing a plan come together? Thanks again! Sincerely, Tom G and Katherine G
