POSTED DATE 1-6-08 : Lost Dog
My Yorkie, Pebbles, was last seen at home in the Williamschase subdivision (Morton Ranch Rd. & Elrod) in Katy Texas on 1/3/08. She got outside un-noticed and disappeared. Pebbles was not wearing her tags. She is a spayed female weighing approx. 5-6 lbs and blue/gold hair (blond/grey). She has tall ears, cut tail, and her hair is of medium length. She is usually very playful and hyperactive, loves to play tug-a-war with a stuffed animal toy, loves pig ears, and loves to be carried (lapdog). She is a Mommas girl! Her family misses her, please help!

POSTED DATE 3-9-07 On February 23, my wife came across an abandoned dog tied to a light pole on a construction site in our neighborhood. The dog was traumatized and injured. At first he drew back from me as if he had a fear of male figures.
We took him to our vet of twenty-five years ( we have 3 cats). X-ray showed a hairline fracture of the right hip socket. There was also a flesh wound on the left rear leg. The vet surmises that he may have been struck by a car. He tested negative for heart worms. We were given medication for pain and an intestinal parasite. Our vet estimates his age to be about 2 years.
Over the weekend he began to respond favorably toward me and now, a week later, we are best buddies.
We believe he is a pointer. We have seen him go into a pointer stance, tail straight out when he sees wildlife of interest.
In the 2 weeks that we have sheltered the dog he has completely changed in demeanor. He appears to be happy and social in his surroundings. He is gentle with children. Our 4 year old granddaughter has named him "Bingo" and is quite fond of him. We have prepared a place for him the garage for sleeping at night. Not once has he soiled the place. In the morning we put him in our fenced in back yard where he has freedom to move about. He appears to defecate in the same area each time. He will come to the threshold of the doorway, but not enter the house. If he tends toward inappropriate behavior, saying "No" will cause him to correct himself. All this tends make us think that he had a structured life at one time and may even be housebroken.
We are not in a position to keep the dog. We are in our seventies and just can't provide the activity that this breed requires. And our three cats will not hear of it. We would really like to re-unite him with his owner. If that is not possiblle, we believe this to be a fine dog that could be a great addition to the right family.
I'll let the attached photos speak for themselves. You will be able to see "before" and "after".
Contact me if you wish to correspond.
Sincerely,
Stan and Evelyn

POSTED DATE 1-3-07 This little guy was found on Dec. 2 near Clay Rd and Gessner. He stayed with a co-worker of mine for a week but fell into her pool so I took him in. I live in the Katy area. He is very sweet. He is blind in one eye and has cataracts in the other. I believe he is hard of hearing as well. I believe he is between 5 and 8 years old. We are calling him Scruf for now. If he belongs to you please call 281-467-5335 (cell) or 281-347-0620 (Home). He is really missing home. I will not be able to keep him much longer.
