11th St. in Houston. We saw her bounding through the parking lot and
running into the Kroger, where we found her cornered in the floral
department! She seems to be about a year old, and weighs probably
around 16 or 17 pounds. She is a really adorable, sweet puppy.
Playful and hasn't been a bit of trouble so far. Just had her for the
afternoon, but she seems to be house-trained and can "sit."

During the hurricane she was very nervous and started chewing at her tail.
Fema workers opened the gate to the backyard and she got spooked. She is a passive agressive type dog. Very very shy. She will not go to just anyone. She will only go up to familly members.
We have placed many flyers with her picture and phone number to contact.
Thank you for your help. I have limited contact via computer due to the hurricane. I just happen to be at work today until 2pm.

POSTED DATE 1-18-08 : Shiner is my beloved Australian Shepherd who wandered away from his home Sunday evening, Jan 13th. He lives in Lakewood Forest in Northwest Houston, Cypress area. He was last seen at the intersection of Jones Rd. and Louetta on Monday night by a kind lady who couldn't manage to catch him. He could be much farther by now.
He was wearing a collar and an ID tag when he left. He's very friendly and loves people. He likes to bark but doesn't bite. He also likes to run but saying Shiner COME! and having treats, or at least telling him you have treats, will work.

I found these dogs in Houston and brought them to Sienna Plantation to
foster them untill I can find them a home but they got out of my
backyard. The black and white one is a Husky and the other on seems
to be a mix of a lab and a husky. They seem to be mother and daughter

POSTED DATE 1-10-07: Hey Joe, I needed to post this……Sofi was lost 1/2/2007 in the parking lot of Target/Babies R US. Her mom ran from the car into the store after retrieving her drivers license. Sofi must have panicked when she saw her mom running from the car and squeezed through the window and tried to follow her into Babies R US. She also ran into Target/TGF Haircutters and Marshalls. She was shooed out the door.…..We have received several phone calls saying they saw her running in the parking lot and in the field behind the building. One witness said they tried to get her into the car with her (she was going to take her to the SPCA). The witness said she saw her get into a black truck with a couple with a small daughter. I am pleading with anyone who may have seen her to call us. WE WILL PAY A REWARD!!!!!!!!!. She is a red Vizsla approxiamtley 50 lbs. about 2+ feet tall. She has a surgery scar on her right back ankle. Also, she is a jumper, so if she is found and you put her in the backyard she will jump the fence. I have attached photos of our dogs, Landry and Ripley. They got out of our yard sometime on 9/22/06. They are indoor dogs, but have a pet door with access to the back yard. We missed them when we arrived home from work around 5:00 pm
Landry is a male Golden Retriever, 5 years old and weights about 90 lbs. Ripley is a mixed breed female, 14 months old and weighs about 75 lbs. Both dogs are extremely people friendly. Landry was wearing a chain collar and Ripley was wearing a purple collar. Neither dog has a ID tag.

Help, attached is our sweetheart Lucky. We have a major problem. We are in
the process of moving from Houston back to Odessa and will be leaving on
August 4th. While we were gone this weekend to take a load to Odessa,
someone opened our side gate and let Lucky out. The worst part is that
evidently one of my children took her collar off and now the only collar she
has on is a blue & white flea collar. She is a terrier mix (or so the vet
says). White with black spots. She is used to being in the house and is
house trained. She is a very good dog but likes to roam when given an
opportunity. She has been a member of our family for 12 years and it is
killing all of us that we have no way to find her. She is missing one of
her fangs due to a car incident when she was much younger. Her full name is

noon. He is 65 lbs. and 5 years old. He was not wearing a collar as he
slipped it to get away. He has short fur and a long tail that curls
slightly. He loves to play and can be vocal. He IS microchipped.

| UPDATE 7-4-6 This dog is home. Posted Date 7-2-06 : Hazel is a white shepherd/collie/??? mix neutered female. Approximately 13 years old. Has black markings including black ears. She's on medication and needs to get back home so she can get it on a regular basis. She got scared by fireworks on July 1 and chewed her way through the gate and escaped her yard in the Nottingham Country subdivision #9. She has a tan collar with a rabies tag from Roswell, NM and even though she's not wearing the current tag her rabies and other shots are all current.

| UPDATE 6-9-06 This dog is home. Posted Date 6-7-06 We lost our 3-year-old Sheltie yesterday (6/6/06) at around 9:30p, from the Grants Lake area in Sugar Land, TX. We just adopted her and brought her home from the shelter yesterday afternoon, so we were quite upset when she ran away on the way back home from her walk. She's a tri-colored Sheltie, with a dark patch on her tail. Very gentle and calm. She just had surgery on Monday, so it is quite imperative that we find her. She slipped out from her collar, so she doesn't have any tags either. Her name is Torrie, but as far as we could tell, she didn't respond much to the name. Also, she did not bark once since we went and picked her up from the shelter, so we're not sure if she's just always quiet, or whether it was because she was unfamiliar with her surroundings.

| Posted Date 5-20-06 The cable guy inadvertently left the backyard gate open yesterday afternoon (May 19, 2006) and my precious Jack Russell Terrier escaped. Moxie turned 16 weeks old yesterday. He was born on January 19, of this year. He is all white, except for black/brown markings about his head and face. He has lots of freckles on his belly. When I walk Moxie, I use a harness. Otherwise, I do not usually put a collar on him. When he got away, he was not wearing a collar. I live at 7534 Carew Street in Houston, TX (77074). My phone number is 713-779-6362. It couldn’t have been more than 5 minutes before I noticed Moxie was not in the backyard. I live across the street from an elementary school and, at the time Moxie escaped, an after-school soccer game (played against a visiting school) was just ending. We live in ASHFORD PARK Subdivision (between Richmond and Diary Ashford). She’s a Wire Fox Terrier and has “brown and black, large marking on her coat” weight about 20lbs. Brad called her in when she was gone. We’ve been looking for her every since. The bad thing is that Stephanie “DIDN’T HAVE HER COLLAR ON”. Stephanie is not aggressive toward people or other animals, in fact, she’s very friendly….She belongs to our elementary daughter.

| Update 4-27-06 This dog is home. Posted Date : 4-26-06 Porter broke out of the yard during a bad thunderstorm last night (4/25/2006 at approximately 9:30 PM) while I was not at home. He is a lab/retriever mix that is brownish/red in color about 8 years old based on the fact that we adopted him from the Houston SPCA in November 1999. He has a shiny coat, medium length hair, a long tail, droppy ears and brown eyes. He weighs around 100 pounds. I am attaching a photo that shows him with his "sister", Babe. The lost dog, Porter, is on the right in the photo and is the larger dog with a darker coat. He disappeared from the West University area at University Blvd and Kirby.

His face is brown with a white stripe down the middle. His wiskers are white on one side and brown on the other. Brown/black in color, approx 3-4 lbs and about 3 years old. This is my daughter's dog and she is devastated by the loss. This is normally an inside dog, but she let it out in the backyard for a short time in the afternoon and it disappeared. Lost/stolen in the 77009 zip code. Please help find her!!
