POSTED DATE 9-2-07 : Greetings! We need help to find the owners of this precious lhasa apso dog we found. We found him in our yard on Thursday late evening. He was found specifically at Lockett and Almeda Road. We have posted signs all over this area in hopes that his owners will see them. He is male, neutered, black and white and friendly, obviously well trained as he is obedient, and no problem whatsoever. Does seem a little lonely at times and must be missing his folks & home. POSTED DATE 7-5-07 : My son rescued two dogs playing in the middle of the street at Barker Cypress Rd. & Barker Branch in Houston, Texas on Sunday, 7/1/07. The two dogs gave the impression of being very close friends; in fact at first we thought they were mother and child. However, larger dog has never suckled young. Both were friendly, easily handled. Wouldn't get out of busy street, but allowed son to place them together in a
satchel, zipped in and rode on motorcycle
The top photo shows a 8-10 week old female puppy, about
1-2 pounds, perhaps a cross between a Boston Terrier and a chihuahua. Very dainty build. No collar, no tags, no chip.
The second photo shows a 1 to 2 year old mixed breed hound, perhaps Weimeraner and dachshund cross. She is about
15 pounds, eyes very light hazel/yellow, lower jaw somewhat overshot, coat short and all tan. Had blue nylon collar, no tags, no chip.

I found these dogs in Houston and brought them to Sienna Plantation to
foster them untill I can find them a home but they got out of my
backyard. The black and white one is a Husky and the other on seems
to be a mix of a lab and a husky. They seem to be mother and daughter
and stick with each other all the time. They are wonderful and very

POSTED DATE 4-13-07 On the way home, I saw a little black dog running as fast as his short little legs would take him DOWN THE MIDDLE OF DAIRY ASHFORD HEADING TO WESTHEIMER! I couldn’t stand to think about the little guy getting killed so I took my new car with the fancy smancy electric windows and sort of moved him along to the apartments until he had to rest. Then we talked for a bit until he decided he would take me up on the offer to stop by to meet my kids, Booboo and Choodles and stay for dinner.
This little guy has a pink collar and a flea collar sort of reddish. Short black wavy hair with a little white goatee and white front paws. He has a long body and short legs and the sweetest disposition and gets along fabulous with my boys. He is not neutered. Attached is a picture. We have hung flyers. I know that someone out there is missing this little sweetie so I would like to find them because I know I would appreciate it if I were to lose my puppies.
Before I make a decision on whether to find new parents or name him “Number 3” myself can you send this out everywhere and see if someone knows the fellow on the attached picture please?

POSTED DATE 1-17-07 Dear Joe: We are located at 9210 Kapri Lane, near the Braeswood Bayou, Stella Link area. My parents found a large black dog, male,(looks like a lab breed)with a red collar. The dog had been across the street from their house. It seemed as if the dog was waiting for someone to pick it up. It did not run away. Instead it came to my parents house and has stayed there ever since. My parents own a small dog and cannot keep the Lab much longer.
The dog is very friendly and does not wander off. He stays on their front porch at all times and does not wander off. I have put up signs and no one is claiming the dog. Can you post the picture for us please?

POSTED DATE 1-1-07 Found a beagle in the Heights area directing traffic near Watson and Blayland on Christmas Eve Day. She's less then a year old, not house trained, and full of energy. POSTED DATE 12-20-06 "Sunny" was found wandering the streets on Dec. 17 in the Grogan's Mill area of The Woodlands. He is unneutered, not chipped, clean, nails clipped, skinny and the sweetest, most patient fellow. He's approx one to two years old. He was wearing a royal blue nylon collar when we found him.
Please come forward if this is your boy. He needs your help. Even if you don't want to be his parent anymore, he really, really needs your help right now. If you do still want to be his parent, you must be missing him like crazy because, man, this guy is a gem. Loves to snuggle and nuzzle. Sits and stays. Shakes a paw. Stays in the back of the car (i.e. doesn't try to drive like my dogs do).
"Sunny" is about 65 lbs, maybe some pit mixed in with lab? Has a white blaze on his chest.

POSTED DATE 11-24-06 I found a homeless male German Shepherd puppy in Houston this weekend. He is living in a sewer pipe along side of Tom Bass Park 3 in Houston, TX. The park is located off of Beltway 8 East and Fellows Road near 15108 Cullen Blvd. I have provided him food and water this weekend. He is very cute and playful and seems to be in very excellent condition. He is very scared and living on the side of a busy road so I am fearful he is in danger. He stays in the sewer pipe until he trusts you and you show him food. I have attached pictures. It is very cold out tonight and he does not have any shelter of food/water. POSTED DATE 8-30-06 I found this dog yesterday (Mon., 8/28) in the Stafford / Meadows Place area on Brooke Meadows (one block off of S. Kirkwood....close to S. Kirkwood and W. Airport). The dog does not have a chip and the vet thinks it is probably fully grown (over a year) and weighs 27 pounds. It is black with brown mouth and feet. Very sweet dog and well trained. Male and not neutered. This dog is potty trained to wait to go outside and loves to play fetch with a raquetball. POSTED DATE 8-25-06 Last Friday (8/18/06) while on her lunch break, my wife Cathy found a 6 year old (?) female American Foxhound (without a collar) along the side of highway FM518 in Friendswood, Texas just south of Houston. Cathy works for a Vet, so she took her to back to the office and gave her a much-needed bath, meds, water, and food. “Lady”, as we have named her, weighed a mere 33.6 pounds and did not have a “chip”. From the looks of it, Lady has been on the road for quite some time. Cathy brought her home Friday evening and ever since then she has been sleeping a great deal and relaxing. We have continued to give her fluids, small portions of food 4 or 5 times a day, and lots of TLC. As of this morning, Lady is doing much better. She is now walking, playing, running a little with our other pets (2-Chihuahuas, a border collie, 5 cats, and two horses) and showing her sweet personality.
We believe Lady was an inside dog because she is house broken, well behaved, and well mannered. We have posted Lady’s picture and information as a “Found” dog on all of the web sites we can find but no response yet.
As you can see, we have many pets already and if we cannot find her owner, we would like to find a foster home or adoption organization to help find a good home for Lady…as quickly as practical. POSTED DATE 8-24-06 I found this dog at the corner of 17th and Beverly in the Heights on the evening of 08/21/06. He appears to be between 4 and 6 months old. He is not neutered. Very sweet temperament, but is quite timid at this time. He has a collar, but no tags. He also does not have a microchip. He appears well taken care of though so I believe he is someone's pet.
