Posted Date : 1-25-06 We found this dog on 1/22/06 at the 4600 block of Floyd St. It is in the
Shepherd/Washington area. He was cold and wet and was wearing a black
harness, but no collar. He was very scared, but once we dried him off and
took him home, he perked right up. He is extremely sweet and has a great
disposition. He has not been neutered and we are not sure what kind of dog
he is. Maybe some sort of terrier? He seems to be potty-trained. He is
about 16" wide and about 8" tall. He is gray with blond on his face and
feet. We would have no problem keeping him, but our 8-yr. old bassett hound
is extremely jealous. Please call (713)545-9040.

| UPDATE 1-19-09 : This dog is home. POSTED DATE: 1-18-06 : Female dog found 1-17-05 , Older - beagle type? brown face, brown eyes, large black patch on back, brown paws. no collar, (but you can tell the dog has had a collar on at some point) she seems to be well taken care of and seems to be comfortable with going for walks and car rides. I saw her about 2p on Bermuda Dunes heading out of Huntwick towards Champion Forest Drive and couldn;t believe it when she turned left onto Champion Forest Drive and started walking towards 1960 in the cent! er of the right driving lane. Another person helped stopped traffic so we could get her out of the road before she got hit.
She seems to be a sweetheart and well taken care of... housetrained, etc. I'm sure the owners will miss her....

| POSTED DATE: 1-12-06 : We found this beautiful dog near Highway 6 and 521. She was living at a construction site and had puppies. When we found her, both puppies were only 1 week old. One of the puppies was attacked by another animal before we found him and had terrible wounds. Luckily, we found him and took him to the vet. He is completely healed up now!
We are caring for all 3 dogs and all are up for adoption. The puppies will be available on March 1 and will be handed off to their new families complete with shots & neutering/spaying. The mother will be available on March 1, too.
We named the mother Sadie and she seems to be a mix of Lab and Pointer/Heeler. She is house-trained, knows sit/lay down/shake/stay, and has never barked! She is good with our cats, our dogs (we have a Dalmation, Lab and Jack Russell) and children that have been around her. She is very docile and submissive but friendly to everyone. If I could keep her, I would – we already have 3 dogs and 2 cats, though.
We’ve already taken Sadie and her puppies to the vet twice and they are healthy and happy! If you are interested in adoption, please contact jessicadgrantham@yahoo.com & let me know what type of home you can provide, your experience with dogs, and what time you can spend with a new dog in your home. 281-932-1175 .
